CAPITAL ONE CUP:MANCHESTER UNITED VERSUS LIVERPOOL MATCH PREVIEW

Another cracker of a match awaits football lovers the world over as Manchester United battles Liverpool in a Capital One game billed for this evening. The pressure is more on David Moyes and his fumbling side than it is on Brendan Rogers and his team .

The dust generated by the loss to their so called ‘Noisy Neighbour’ is yet to settle. Many sports analysts believe that a win over Liverpool is the only thing that will soothe some frayed nerves. Defeat is not an option on the plate. Manchester United have not been impressive this season, a situation worsened by that embarrassing loss to Manchester City.

How David Moyes would pull out the current woods remained to be seen. It is already been rumoured in many quarters that Moyes is going to field his strongest squad tonight despite the fact that they have played as much as four games in eleven days.

As for Liverpool, Brendan Rogers is happy to have Lius Saurez back after serving a ten match ban for biting Branislav Ivanovic. Brendan has already hinted that he is likely to feature Suarez in tonight’s game. The return of Suarez is the major talking point of tonight game. It is expected that the Liverpool playmaker is going to have a hostile reception at the Old Trafford. The reception, however, will be insignificant should Liverpool take an early lead. The return of Suarez will definitely add to the attacking edge of Liverpool considering the fact that Sturridge has been firing from all cylinders this season.

Head or tail, we have a crunch game in our hands tonight. The way it stands, it is Liverpool's match to lose.

Is tonight the day Moyes will warm his way into the hearts of doubting Manchester United fans? Would Moyes survive scathing comments from United fans if his team ate dust tonight?
